Taking a snow leopard photo is such a rare opportunity and luck for any photographer and its an achievement of many days of hard work and patience. The snow leopard’s secret lifestyle, special habitat makes conducting research, observing, and taking their photograph extremely complicated. He has been photographing the Gobi desert’s wildlife photos for 10 years, but for the last 3 years he has been photographing the snow leopard. 

The snow leopard population needs a wide range of habitable area. But the increasing of human interference and livestock population has invaded their habitat area dramatically. The construction of new roads and mining sites has divided the untouched land as well. 

Mongolian law strongly prohibits hunting a snow leopard. However, in case a snow leopard attacks a livestock, a herder can take measures to scare them from their habitat in order to protect their livestock. The lack of natural prey is the main cause of conflict between a snow leopard and local herders. 

The Gobi mountains are crucial source of food, firewood, and medical herbs for the local community and, it is a crucial source of water for wildlife in the arid and harsh land. 

The conservation of snow leopards is not only protecting the ecosystem of the high mountains, but also preserving the unique harmony of the Gobi people and nature all together. Nowadays our main goal is to draw local communities to involve the conservation of this important species.

对任何摄影师来说，拍摄雪豹照片都是一个难得的机会和幸运，也是许多天辛勤工作和耐心的成果。雪豹隐秘的生活方式和特殊的栖息地使得进行研究、观察和拍摄它们的照片变得极其复杂。他已经拍摄戈壁沙漠的野生动物照片10年了，但在过去的3年里，他一直在拍摄雪豹。 

雪豹种群需要大范围的可居住区域。但是人类干扰和牲畜数量的增加已经急剧地侵入了它们的栖息地。新道路和矿区的建设也分割了未开发的土地。 蒙古法律强烈禁止猎杀雪豹。然而，万一雪豹袭击牲畜，牧民可以采取措施将它们从栖息地吓跑，以保护它们的牲畜。缺乏天然猎物是雪豹和当地牧民之间冲突的主要原因。 戈壁山脉是当地社区食物、木柴和草药的重要来源，也是干旱和恶劣土地上野生动物的重要水源。 

雪豹的保护不仅是保护高山生态系统，也是保护戈壁人与自然的独特和谐。如今，我们的主要目标是吸引当地社区参与这一重要物种的保护。
