Gao Fan： Chairman of
the Chinese Photographers Association, famous
pictorial expert, photographic theorist and military
affairs journalist. In 1938,
young Gao Fan went to Yan'an and joined the army. During
the War of Resistance Against Japan, he conquered
many difficulties, took many photos about how the Chinese
people fought with enemy and contributed a lot to
Battlefield Pictorial which was the first
publication with pictures in the Taihang Mountain district.
During the War of Liberation, Gao Fan followed the
People's Liberation Army, took many cherish photographic
works; After the liberation, he was participated in the
work of foundation of PLA Pictorial and
Chinese
Photography Academy( former Chinese Photographers
Association). He was also one of the creators and the
first chief editor of Chinese Photography.

Commander Liu Bocheng and Commissar Deng Xiaoping always

In August,1945, Guomintang broke the faith and began to
attack The People's Liberation Army. Under the command
of Liu Guocheng and Deng Xiaoping, the army took back
the city which was occupied by the enemy. |

In June,1946, Jiang Jieshi launched the civil war.
Commander Liu Bocheng, Commissar Deng Xiaoping, Deputy
Commissar Bo Yibo and Chief of Staff Li Da came to
mobilizing meeting before Longhai Battle. |

On 31 January
1949, the Northeast Field Army entered Beijing at 12:30
and liberated this city. |
